    Wonderful experience here! The receptionists, Dr Tazeen Khan and her assistant were so kind, patient and pleasant! I also appreciated the calming nature videos played in the waiting room which encourage mindfulness. The bathroom was also dignified and clean. I'll be coming here from now on.     !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!We took our daughter in today (08/10/2025) for her second tooth extraction. She was a bit hesitant after her first experience, but the pain grew and we booked online — super easy to do!We arrived a few minutes early and were seen within 15 minutes. My daughter looked nervous, but the moment we entered the room, both the dentist and assistant greeted us with warm smiles and a welcoming tone. Instantly, felt at ease.The dentist (Dr Tazeen Khan) listened to our concerns and clearly explained two options along with the benefits of each. We chose the more affordable option, and she provided a clear price range upfront — no hidden costs, no surprises. She was informative, caring, and efficient (quick, but not rushed, confident and skilled). Had a good laugh too!My daughter is feeling much better, and we are both grateful for such a positive experience. This is a dentist we’ll definitely book with again. Highly recommend!

    Dr. Swati is awesome! I was a bit nervous about going to the dentist because of an unusual tooth growing out of my gum, but she made me feel at ease. She was very thorough and even asked for a second opinion to make sure everything was right. The staff at Maxcare are very nice and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Exceptional experience. Dr. Swati and her assistant is very nice and gentle. Helped me decide on what option I should take for my badly decayed tooth that will not hurt my pocket..Also helps that they are open even on weekends.

    Excellent service. It was my first visit and I was so nervous as I was in so much pain The staff was so calm and friendly, explained things to me. Took an Xray and was ready straight away to begin working on my broken tooth, it was awesome.

    All amazing and punctual staff. They were very kind with extraordinary customer service. I rang in the morning and the reception I spoke to had a very calm tone in her voice. She booked me in for a 1.30pm appointment that same day. I went at 1.15pm and was greeted by a very polite receptionist then was taken in at 1.30pm with the dentist. Consultation was done and the dentist did her work. The dentist and her colleagues took 2 x-rays and then started extracting 2 of my teeth, which were making things really uncomfortable for me. I was out of their just after 2pm. The whole team made going to the dentist so easy and for the first time ever I didn't feel anxious about being at the dentist. Thank you Maxcare Otahuhu 🥰 I will definitely be recommending your services.

    Our experience here at Maxcare Dental Otahuhu has been a breeze so far. The Dentists, Dental assistants and receptionists are so attentive, friendly, professional, welcoming and caring. Always so helpful and going the extra mile to help in any way. My mother has Alzheimer's and I love and admire the way they treat their patients Esp the elderly. Dr Tazeen showed kindness, patience and compassion towards my mother and I appreciate that.The clinic is so clean, neat and tidy. Although some other clinics I have been too, are so boring, dark and dull. Here at Maxcare Dental clinic Otahuhu, it was vibrant, bright and the air conditioning is great they even have a water tank to keep you hydrated on a super hot day. Overall wonderful experience and I give them a Five star rating. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    Today 23/01/2025 I had Dr Ghurman Kaur & her assistant , Do 2 extractions for me today . I was very pleased with how fast and efficient the extractions were. Great Customer service at reception. Highly recommend!

    Had a broken tooth so called in a panic asking to be seen immediately. The Practice Manager Danika was awesome and arranging for a prompt 8:30am appointent. Was seen to by Dr Tazeen Khan and her dental assistant! both were exceptionally competent with light and expert hands promptly restored the filling with no issues. I waited 3 days to post the review the see how the post op goes! no issues to report. Post op review was excellent. I am super grateful to have found my permanent dental clinic and dentist.. Thank you Maxcare Team for your expert handling of my dental issues!

    My 15-year-old daughter's experience at Maxcare was great! Dr. Gurman Kaur gave her excellent advice on oral hygiene. Her tooth filling was perfect! She did such a good job that my daughter felt no pain during the procedure. The staff were very warm and accommodating. Highly recommended; you will feel welcome at this dental office.

    I got dramatic and initially wrote an exaggerated review, I got my way in the end and got my sore teeth pulled. However I got home and went to sleep. I dreamed a strong dream. In front of me an angry man shouting a different language with his right hand and finger up as if to give a strong warning. Even tho I did not understand the language, My heart perceived what was being said.I knelt down on my knees and cried I said I'm so sorry, who are you ? I told him I didn't know it was his dentist place, I promised never again to even utter a bad word to Max Care ever again. I told him about the spirit come out with my nasty teeth that got pulled, his head nodded he agreed. A spirit of terrible word's came out with my tooth.I want my whole family to care for their dentist needs to MaxCare, each one of them I instruct never to say a bad word or compose any bad word sentences to MaxCare.Thank you, thank you thank you.

    As someone who's always been anxious with dental procedures I was put at ease the moment I walked through the doors. Staff were lovely, every step of the way. I've had fillings, root canal and veneers from Maxcare Dental and can honestly say I wouldn't go anywhere else. Affordable considering the incredible results and service! Upfront with costs and have genuine concern regarding your health. Highly recommend!

    My brother in law has just had a full set of dentures and they look amazing. Maxcare have done a fabulous job and with the option of being able to pay them off has been helpful.He is one happy guy!!!

    My husband was suffering from tooth pain for about 4-5 days and today couldn’t stand the pain and wanted the tooth out! Looked up dental clinics that were open today -Sunday and thought some said they were open 7 days - only when looking on their website -Not the case - Liars 😠 . Luckily saw Maxcare Otahuhu -green open! Into the car we went- Hubs and I. On the way to clinic called up and a wonderful polite and helpful staff on phone line said that though day is full of bookings if we were to get to clinic before a client gets there at 10:15am or around that time, they’ll see if an extraction can be done. Husband and I parked up at clinic at around 10’ish, filled out a new patient form and boom Hubbs was seen as soon as form was done and put into their system by desk staff. ( The wonderful person who talked to me over phone) Dentist and assistant were also lovely and patient with me when I explained /translated what was to happen for my husband on his tooth and the aftercare when home. All in all - Great service and care and very quick! Husband is happy and so am I.

    I had an infected wisdom tooth that couldn't be removed by my dentist, but was treated for the infection and was offered to contact a private specialist, but found it was very expensive.I kept coming across Maxcare Dental online, so I got a consult and they were able to remove my tooth a couple of days later🙂 Thank you to the team who took care of me, from my initial consult to the long but careful extraction. It was intense and worrying at first but I was put at ease from the obvious expertise of Dr Muhammed and his team.I will definitely come back for all my toothy needs and recommend this team for professional and affordable dental care 💯

    On Tuesday I booked my appointment. Yesterday on Wednesday I went for my appointment to maxcare dental clinic. For the very first time I walked in the clinic and was greeted with a big smile by the ladies at the reception and lovely staffs , respectful manner, professional , lovely and caring staffs. They were all so helpful . When I got there I didn't have to wait for that long. Procedure was done perfectly on time. Everything went very well and smooth. It was painless. The staffs took very good care of me and were very calming and gentle. I 100% recommend MAXCARE DENTAL CLINIC for anyone who needs there teeth done.     I got my wisdom tooth extracted and dental hygiene done by Dr. Hassan Ahmed. He explained everything in details, asked me in every step of the procedure if I was comfortable enough while explaining each detail throughout the extraction. He was quite gentle.The pricing was also reasonable compared to other clinics. Overall it was a good experience and will definitely recommend him.

    Dr Hassan is the best! I had one tooth Extraction earlier by him. And went again for filling in other two teeth because I needed quality work and he is the best at this. Moreover, it wasn’t that expensive regarding his expertise. I'm so greatfull. I can recommend him with full confidence!

    Visited 1/6/24 for a consultation with Dr Hassan. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Clinic was clean and comfortable. Dr Hassan gave clear information on what I needed done and also gave suggestions on options that might be more beneficial for me. Really made me feel confident to continue on with treatment.     Very friendly, gentle and comforting. Book online they have availability. Arrive a bit early as parking is very limited. If you had a traumatic experience at the dentist in the past MAXCARE changed that for me and I recommend MAXCARE for all.

    I have always been nervous when going to a Dentist. My recent visit to this Clinic was truly something else. The Dentist and other staff were so relaxed and comforting that I felt more at ease.     Maxcare dental is that one place for our dental services. Very friendly n helpful staff with lot of patience. When I visited the clinic, I didn't take any appointment before my visit but after talking to me, the receptionist came to know that I was in a lot of pain. She some how squeezed me in and I had my treatment done on the same day by a very friendly and caring dentist.She was very patience as she knew i was so scared.     After reading reviews, I decided to come give Maxcare Dental a try. I had a tooth infection and wanted a consultation and seeing what options I had for my tooth.     Dr Hassan Ahmed is the best! Very onto it, quick and efficient. When my tooth got chipped he was able to fix it up on the first visit and then within a few weeks I was fitted with a crown. Professional, friendly, efficient service. Highly recommend.

    I live close by and the consultation is free! The low pricing, great customer service and quality work by the Doctors is the reason this dentist will remain my go too. Every time I come in, the staff are so lovely and friendly. The Doctors are kind and knowledgable. Highly recommend.

    As an actor there are a lot of things to consider appearance wise and nothing is worse than bad teeth. The dentists in this clinic were amazing during the cleaning, filling and extraction process. The dentist who extracted my teeth made it seem so easy. Absolute professionals!!!

    Aditi is the dentist that provided the service to me. She is a very kind and beautiful natured person. The proffession suits her. She explained me the things really well.     Massey Clinic - well priced and extremely pleased with their efforts to follow up on a pain issue that wasn’t resolved through the initial fillings. Turned out to be an anomaly bone spicule which didn’t show on an x ray - I came back for a follow up appointment and they resolved this and didn’t charge me. Really appreciate the service and effort put in to ensure my pain was resolved. Highly recommend this new clinic!

    Had my first root canal done by Dr Hassan and i can 100% say it was the best experience ever.I have always been scared of going to the dentist but Dr Hassan made my experience the best especially after just recently giving birth , I wasn't to keen to go through anymore pain and from the start of my first treatment it was painless till the very end.Staff there are all very helpful and such an affordable place and caring staff that will look after you till the end!

    Excellent team here at Maxcare dental Otahuhu, I visited on Saturday, Saw Dr Mohammed.He was very honest and after visiting 4 dentist in last 2 year, I found him very knowledgeable. He guided me in the right direction and diagnosed the issue efficiently/accurately. At not one point, I felt like I m being treated as a cash cow.Even when i ask them to refer me to a surgeon, They did it straight away understanding how my insurance will work for wisdom removal even when the knew that means they don't get to make money from me in this instance.I will definitely be back at their clinic for the 2nd part- which is Tooth filling later.

    Just saw the owner of the dental practice Dr. Khan for an emergency extraction, not only did they fit me in a very short time frame but she was the kindest, most gentle dentist I have every been too. And charged me half of what I've paid for similar work at other dentists!!! There is no question in my mind that she is now my regular dentist (at the end of the app I got full x-rays and discussed future work that will be needed with her) and I cannot recommend her and her practice enough! Not only is their service amazing but you're supporting a 8WOC, a mother and business owner!

    Thank you Dr Hassan Mohamed Ahmed and Shameeta 😊 you guys are awesome. I had my Stage 2 root canal done today. I had a bit of a tickle in my throat during the procedure and had a coughing fit. They both made me feel comfortable and let me get settled. I was offered tea and throat lozenges to calm my throat. We proceeded after a while and managed to get it all done.Thank you both for being so professional yet caring. I will come back to have the crown put on 🙏😊

    Super happy with the service here. I just rang for an immediate appointment and they were able to see me on the same day, I was pretty stoked. The process was so easy and efficient.     I initially went to Maxcare Dental firstly because they offer different payment methods (we all know dental work can be pricey!) which meant I wasnt forking out the full cost on each visit and can pay it off instead. I had Dr. Tazeen Khan and she was/is amazing. She talked me through everything, and my experience was excellent, so quick and painless. I've had so far 2 procedures (1 root canal and 1 wisdom extraction) with her and have already made plans to continue more treatments with her. Highly recommend this clinic!

    I went here for a root canal treatment today. I’ve had root canals before so I knew what to expect but since this was my first time at this practice I went in without expectations. I was blown away by the awesome service! The receptionist was very polite and professional. Booking my appointment was easy and she gave clear instructions. Very welcoming.Dr Hassan Mohamed Ahmed treated me. He was thorough, patient, gentle and professional. I didn’t feel like I was being pressured into anything like most of the other dental clinics I’ve been to. He asked me what I came in for and he treated it. Since I’ve had root canals before, I had expected a fair amount of pain but I can happily say that the procedure was 99% painless! I felt taken care of, safe and comfortable. Very pleased with everything. They also have some pretty awesome payment options including After pay. I highly recommend Maxcare and Dr Ahmed! I will be going back there for all my dental needs.

    My daughter recommended their service, originally I wanted to get other quotes because I knew the bill was going to be expensive however after my initial consultation with the Dentist I was comfortable enough to return and get my extractions done.My experience upon arrival to post procedure I left feeling pain free and happy with the service delivery. The receptionist did everything right to be safe with the 2m distancing and checking my temperature with scanner.I do recommend their service and very grateful to the team.

    Fantastic. I went for wisdom tooth extraction and everything went well. The receptionist was friendly, there was no wait time, and the dentist made me feel easy, took time to explain everything I asked before and after the extraction, and allowed my family member in the extraction room to take pictures.Great experience overall.     Maxcare Dental were my choice of dental care after several visits and quotes at other centres. The appointments to assess the treatments I needed were handled in a very professional manner. I felt respected and a part of all discussions. I was well informed through every step of treatment over a couple months and encouraged to ask questions or give feedback as the appointments were in progress.     It was a mission for me to find a dentist on a Sunday morning I was turned away by some many dentists in Auckland but Maxcare Dental Otahuhu were nothing but amazing! I called them and they took us in straight away we were able to get an appointment within an hour.     After consulting multiple orthodontists, I decided to go ahead with Maxcare Dental. They were very reasonably priced, very close to my work and home and also open during weekends and not overly busy. I had my wedding planned for end of the year and all other orthodontists I consulted told me that they cant fix it within a year time but Dr Ramneek Kaur told me that she can do it. She booked me for adjustments every 2-3 weeks and I was off braces within 10 months with amazingly straight teeth. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from her, have exceeded my expectation in everyway. The staff is very friendly as well.

From the very first phone call with Anna at reception through to my visits with Dr Hassan Ahmed, they have shown sincere kindness and support throughout. They really do look after their customers and provide excellent work on your teeth! (really happy with mine!!). Will highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

    I would like to express my gratitude for your wonderful dentist finding the infection that wasn't presenting on the 19th when I came for a review. I am very relieved now I returned so soon as I have been very unwell since the implant failure months ago and I am looking forward to becoming well again. I found his technique and skills outstanding and I will be referring people to your clinic to see him.I would also like to share that I thanked Lydia the dental assistant today. I have never thanked an assisting person before but she did an amazing job. I normally find suctioning extremely uncomfortable and usually the fluid still runs down the back of my throat causing me to gag. I would say she would be the best dental assistant I have ever experienced with excellent technique. Finally I would like to mention Anna she is always very friendly and helpful.I wanted to share my personal feeling toward your staff I encountered today and to let you be proud of them especially in the current difficult situation all New Zealanders and all businesses are facing.you have an outstanding Team working for you Rating 5/5

    I have had 2 wonderful experiences with the team at Maxcare Dental and usually a dental visit is anything but a wonderful experience.From the service at the reception desk to the dental assistant and dentist the environment was warm and the appointment informative. All bases were covered and i was referred to a specialist promptly.I would highly recommend their services as they are a very welcoming professional team with very affordable prices.

    My wife and I both had work done at Maxcare Dental in Otahuhu and we were very pleased with the whole experience. The clinic looked very modern and clean. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The dentist was very professional and gave us great advise concerning care needed and after care. The cost was competive and reasonable but still a lot for a low income family. We did receive a slight discount which means alot as every cent counts. Overall, we are very satisfied with our experience, this is why we are back a second time. We'll done Maxcare Otahuhu.

    DrTazeen Khan was so kind and caring, both her and her assistant were very professional, they put me at ease as I was very nervous regarding dentist's. Easy access to parking, affordable dentistry. Dr Kahn did exceptional work, she did a replacement tooth so very fast, she talked me through everything she wanted to do for the future with me.     Dr Tazeen Khan, was very professional and so kind and thoughtful right from the start, I was super nervous in seeing a Dentist. I wanted to see a female Dentist, she put my worries at ease, cared about my feelings, she worked without any breaks and always che led to see how I was feeling. Dr Khan worked so fast and had everything done in the same day, she did moulds done all in one day and her assistant was very professional as well. I've never felt so cared for in such a kind and caring way. I would recommend her to everyone.

    Dr Ramneek Kaur is brilliant. After we moved home from Sydney, Dr Kaur took over and completed my daughters orthodontic treatment with a great plan and price. She has great interpersonal skills and very accommodating. Online appointment booking as also a plus!

    Dr Tazeen is that rare kind of person that exudes professionalism but also is genuinely caring, and goes out of her way to advise you on what is best for your own personal dental health. In a situation where most of us are nervous and (with suction, etc in our mouths) unable to speak!) Dr Tazeen intuitively knows when to check in on you, and adjust any procedure to make you instantly more comfortable. The practice, in general, offers top quality work without the 'posh people' prices, and they stay away from sales pitches and hard-sells, while offering clear information and solid support. Highly recommended.

    I went to the max care all frightened but was assured it will be painless. When I went there I was blown away by the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff . I have changed my dentist to max care because they treated me so well and informed the procedure every step of the way. She was young beautiful and yet so knowledgeable . I completely trust her. The receptionist and the assistant nurse too were so Curtiss and friendly . They really know their stuff and work as a team . The place is clean, location is easy accessible and open 7 days . It’s great for working people , can visit in the weekends and there is plenty of parking . I have been to many dentists previously , but I really recommend Maxcare Dental. I give them 10/10 . They reminded me of my appointments . Max are provided me the service beyond my expectation. And I THANK YOU😃😃😃😃😃

    I am a new patient and I thoroughly enjoy the friendly, welcoming service and affordable prices at Max care. I had several proceedures done to my teeth for tha past month and today I was very impressed and grateful that Dr Khan came in on her day off to accommodate me (shift worker)she has an extremely busy schedule but that blew me away!! I offered to pay extra but she said it was fine.     The dental Clínic is outstanding with also excellent professional staff. I have been attended in 4 different Clinics before coming to this one and for sure this is the best. For those who fear going to the dentists my last 2 fillings I had here I suggested not to use anesthesia and I didn't feel any pain at all. They are really careful and have wonderful hands. Easy parking and online bookings.

    I only went to Maxcare Dental because I had a Grab One deal and it was across the road from my workplace. Normally I’ll never go into an establishment for Health Care unless it has been recommended to me AND I would never go into a Health Care establishment in Otahuhu either (personal choice).When I walked in, I was real surprised:1. It was clean and tidy (tick)2. Friendly staff (tick tick)3. Staff were professional, qualified and they knew what they were talking about and had been trained at a high level (tick tick tick)It ticked all the boxes for me. I have recommended Maxcare Dental to all my friends and colleagues (to their surprise lol). My wife has booked in to see Maxcare Dental and it’s now become my preferred choice when it comes to dental work!

    Had the horrifying experience of my front tooth just breaking completely off, I went to another dentist who quoted me $6000 for an implant..but he couldn't offer me any temporary replacement... there's no way I was walking around with no tooth for a week, googled implants and maxcare popped up with a deal of $3995. I called them they saw me straight away, I was given options but all came with the promise they could fix a temporary tooth.. they were friendly and really seemed to care..I walked out with my smile and dignity intact and will be back soon to get the implant.. couldn't recommend them more highly..great service.. amazing price

    Very professional, friendly and great service. I had a root canal done, the doctor that treated me was excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. He made me feel very comfortable and I trusted him from the start. The issue was dealt with in 3 sessions. My tooth has been well taken care of, it looks and feels great.
